As a fun side project and a good way to keep up my design skills, I’ve created an array of geofilters for Snapchat. A geofilter is a location-based filter that users can apply to their photos when they are in the designated region. It can be as small as a single building or as large as an entire city.
I’ve created several filters for towns and neighborhoods, mostly in the Baltimore, MD region. Many combine graphic design and typography with illustrated elements.

Below is a screenshot of how one of the geofilters appears in the app when you are in the designated location. In this case, it is the Mount Vernon neighborhood in Baltimore, MD which is recognizable by its iconic Washington Monument on Charles St.
