When I was getting ready to graduate from undergrad, I realized I needed to send out graduation announcements. Rather than download stock designs from online, I chose to design my own. Using varied fonts that merried the fun, playful, casual style I was going for, my graduation announcements were created.

To go along with the announcement card, I also created a map for those coming from out of town and may not know how to navigate Richmond’s streets. I also printed a custom envelope to carry the design throughout the entire package.

A few years later, and both my brother and sister were graduating from high school and college, respectively. As such, they had seen my previously designed graduation announcements and wanted to have custom designs as well. For my brother, we kept it fairly simple, drawing on the school colors for a bold statement. For my sister, she wanted something closer to what I had done a few years prior so without completely duplicating it we kept a similar feel.
